Sending emails in background task

If you experience performance issues with your email server, you can use our custom email backend for sending emails asynchronously with background tasks.

Rename your EMAIL_BACKEND setting in ~/devilrydeploy/devilry_settings.py to DEVILRY_LOWLEVEL_EMAIL_BACKEND and add the following setting:

EMAIL_BACKEND = 'devilry.devilry_email.rq_backend.RQEmailBackend'
